Special Olympics

Today, the fight for inclusion is more relevant than ever. People of all ages, races, genders, cultures, backgrounds, and abilities continue to face discrimination, ignorance and disparagement. Our founder, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, saw little justice in the way people with intellectual disabilities were treated around her and she decided to make a difference. Her revolutionary vision and programs through Special Olympics have been changing the world for more than 50 years.

Through sports, our athletes are seeing themselves for their abilities, not disabilities. Their world is opened with acceptance and understanding. They become confident and empowered by their accomplishments, which translates to all aspects of their lives.

Living in a divided world, we must come together, open our hearts and minds and commit to working toward a world where EVERYONE is included. Please share our PSA and join us in ending discrimination against people with intellectual disabilities. The Revolution Is Inclusion.
