Currently, 4 in 5 people diagnosed with lung cancer will die because lung cancer is all too often diagnosed in later stages. The American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer, LUNGevity, and the National Lung Cancer Roundtable have teamed up to launch the “ScreenYourLungs” PSA campaign – aimed at saving lives by creating more awareness about early screening for lung cancer. The campaign focused specifically on people who smoked in the past.
